Holden Davis ties a yellow ribbon to a post on Main Street in Chesterfield in honor of the local National Guardsmen who have been called up to service. Members of the National Guard Units in Cheraw and Jefferson were notified in December they would be deployed to Iraq in the spring. Since then, the Chesterfield County Family Assistance Group has been putting up yellow ribbons through out the towns of Chesterfield and Cheraw and has asked others to display ribbons at their homes and businesses.
