Is the Big Bad Wolf guilty or not guilty? That’s the question raised in the hilarious rock musical “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs.” The fate of the furry creature rests in the hands of the audience.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Cheraw Arts Commission presents the Children’s Playhouse featuring the Tarradiddle Players in a brilliant parody of the “Three Little Pigs.” Based on the book by Jon Scieszka, the Big Bad Wolf shares his version of what really happened.

Geared for K-5th grade audiences, the performance is one of several shows offered in the Cheraw Arts Commission Children’s Playhouse series. The 55-minute show starts at 11 a.m. at the Theatre on the Green in Cheraw. Admission is $5 per person with advance tickets available at the Cheraw Community Center, 200 Powe St.

For additional information, contact the Cheraw Arts Commission at 843-537-8420, ext. 12. The Cheraw Arts Commission is supported by the United Way of Chesterfield County and the SC Arts Commission which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
