Mary Alice Dotson, 70, died March 11, 2013, born in Union, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Etta Lee Whitmire. She was a member of Keenagers of Calvary Assembly of God in Dover, Del. She loved bowling, playing pool and fishing. Traveling, sightseeing and spending time with family were also a favorite of her’s. She was retired from the textile and manufacturing industry and also worked as a bartender.

Surviving is: a son, Ricky Wayne (Jill) Dotson of Camden, Del., daughters, Kimberly Lynn (Eric) Anderson, Rhonda Kay (Daniel) Fleisher both of Cheraw, and brother, Henry Grady Whitmire Jr., from Conneticutt. Nine grand children and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents listed above and a sister Donna Marie Dotson.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw.
