Woodrow Wilson Watson, 75, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, in Zion Hall at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Watson was born Aug. 2, 1936, in Chesterfield, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson “Buck” Watson and Juanita Leaird Watson White. He was a life long resident of Chesterfield County. Wilson was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was a retired central office supervisor with Sandhill Telephone Cooperative, with 36 years of service. Mr. Watson was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, and was a retired member of the Pageland Fire Department. Wilson was also a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #58.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Patsy Mangum Watson of the home; two sons, Christopher Shea (Amy) Watson of Indian Trail, N.C., and Garren Dean (Kelly) Watson of Monroe, N.C.; grandchildren, Logan, Jeremy, Justin, Grayson, and Connor Watson, and a step grandchild, Amanda Helms.
