Larry Welsh Sellers, 68, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at the Thad E. Saleeby Center.

A funeral service was held Sunday, Sept. 23, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield.

Interment followed in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sellers was born July 22, 1944, in Salisbury, N.C., a son of the late John Pershing and Mildred Welsh Sellers. He enjoyed music, especially country and western, and wrestling. Larry was a true “People Person”, who loved everyone and who was loved by all.

Survivors include one brother, Randy M. Sellers of Hillsborough, N.C., one sister, Sandra S. (Fred) Bright of Charlotte, N.C., two nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, also a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
