Joseph F. “Joe” Jenkins, age 79, died Sunday, October 14, 2012
Graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, prior to the service in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center.
Jenkins was born July 1, 1933, in Ruby, a son of the late Lemuel Frank and Emma Kirkley Jenkins. He was a graduate of Ruby High School and a retired Security Guard. Joe was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. He enjoyed horses and riding in a mule drawn wagon. In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by three brothers; James, Hiram, and Bobby Jenkins; and by his sister Betty J. Lowder.
Survivors include one brother, Johnny L. (Elma) Jenkins of Chesterfield, also a number of nieces and nephews.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, is serving the family.
