In 2019, Beerschot and Rupel Boom began working together to improve youth employment. Young players would be exchanged between the two clubs, but the modus operandi soon became unclear.
Birchot blamed Boom for not placing the artificial turf fields in time and after five months the collaboration ended. Subsequently, Pom put Berchot into default due to unfulfilled promises. In short, it wasn’t a pretty story. Boom has now found a new partner to stimulate youth action. In fact, it is a complete takeover of the club.
