It looks like we’ll be able to play Assassin’s Creed: Origins at 60 fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X next week, according to a tweet from PlayStationSize.
The Twitter account often informs us of the patches and storage needed on your PlayStation for various games and is a reliable source. For example, they found update 1.60 for Assassin’s Creed: Origins in the PSN database. In the related tweet, you can read that, among other things, the update will add a higher frame rate to the PlayStation 5 version. Last December, Ubisoft announced that it would attempt to run the game at 60 frames per second on next-gen consoles. It looks like this will be possible as of next week.
In August, Ubisoft already released an update for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, which made it possible to play the game at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
Assassin’s Creed® Origins 1.60 update has been added to the database.
