Famous PeopleLast year, it became known that “Friends” actor Matthew Perry (52 years old) would write his diary. The book is about the popular sitcom Friends, but it’s also about his personal bottoms and his years of struggle with addiction. The actor himself has now announced via Instagram that his book is ready and will be in stores from November 1, 2022. “A lot has been written about me in the past, so I thought it was time to tell my side of the story,” it seems.

it is time. American actor Matthew Perry finished his autobiography, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing. He announced this news himself in a post on his Instagram page. “I don’t like that I stop writing about myself, but the book is over now,” it seems there.

Berry previously mentioned that a lot has been written about him in the past. “I thought it was time for people to hear from me. The highs were high and the lows were low. But I’m still here to tell the story, even if sometimes it doesn’t seem like it.” The actor suffered from addiction in the past. For example, he was accepted into rehab on several occasions and a few years ago in an interview with Britain’s “Radio 2 Breakfast Show”, he told radio host Chris Evans that he couldn’t remember three years of recording “Friends”. Then he suffered from addiction and was so drugged, it all passed him by.

The book’s publisher, Flatiron Books, announced last October that the actor would be very outspoken in the memoirs and address his years of substance abuse problems. “In the book, Matthew Perry takes readers behind the scenes of the most successful sitcom of all time, as he talks candidly about his own struggle with addiction,” the publisher said in a press release. It was also confirmed that the actor would weave his own sense of humor into the book and certainly wouldn’t be shy about sharing vivid details about his struggles with sobriety with the reader as well.

Friends, Lovers And The Big Terrible Thing will be released worldwide on November 1, 2022.
