Obi Ollari is still only 26 years old, but he already has quite a few clubs on his resume. He has already been on the payroll at Club Brugge, Watford, Zolt Wargem, Willem II, Royal Antwerp, Standard, Barnsley and RWDM. Olar realizes he made mistakes.
The striker broke through early in Club Brugge and looked ready for an even better career. At the age of eighteen, it also sparked a lot of interest. says in RTBF†
“The most dangerous thing for a young footballer at that time was his entourage. A lot of players ruined their careers because of a bad entourage. I can count on one hand that has been standing next to me since the beginning of my career.”
According to Oularé, this bad entourage is also one of the main reasons he is now playing “only” with RWDM. “If I had had better support after my achievement at Club Brugge, I would have never left for Watford.”
The striker seems to have realized that he went abroad too soon. “It would have been better for me to stay at Club Brugge for another season, like Charles de Kettleri for example. That was an important lesson.”
