MovieDirector James Cameron (67 years old) created the fantastic story ‘Avatar’ in 2009. Due to the massive success, Cameron decided to add a four-part sequel. The first part will be shown in cinemas at the end of this year. And while the parts haven’t been produced then, Cameron may not be in charge.
“Avatar movies are very time consuming,” James Cameron told Empire Magazine. “I think eventually, over time, I want to pass the task on to a manager that I trust. So I can do some other things that I care about as well.” But nothing seems certain: “Or maybe not. I don’t know.”
Anyway, the director is looking forward to the following Avatar stories: “Everything I have to say about family, sustainability, climate, the natural world, and topics that interest me in real life and in my cinematic life, can be found out on this panel.”
The second film, Avatar: The Way of Water, is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022. The story takes place fourteen years after the first film. Much has changed for Jake and Netery, who have since settled in the rainforests of Pandora. It promises to be another popular with RDA miners again this time.
