NZXT, a well-known manufacturer of buildings, components, and water coolers, comes with its first screens. It is a 32-inch curved gaming monitor with a resolution of 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. There will also be a different 27-inch variant.
NZXT gives these player-focused screens the marketing name Canvas Along. According to the manufacturer, they have minimal screen bezels. The two screens are similar in a number of ways. It features a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, support for AMD FreeSync Premium and a specific response time of 1ms. Regarding the latter, it is not clear whether this relates to the gray-to-gray response time or the MPRT value.
There are also obvious differences. 32″ version, called 32Q . Curved Canvas, has a VA panel and is curved with a curvature of 1500R, which is equivalent to a curvature of a radius of 1.5 metres. 27 inch model, 27Q . CanvasIt is not curved and has an IPS panel. According to the official specifications, both cases have a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Both models support HDR10, but the manufacturer doesn’t say anything about DisplayHDR certification. Brightness is up to 300cd/sqm. It is assumed that the screens have to do without dimmable areas and also given that the maximum brightness is not high, the HDR screen will not register as high. Settings can be adjusted via the NZXT CAM software and users can create their own profiles that can change dynamically depending on the time of day or the type of game being played.
Both models are available in white and black. The 27-inch black model costs 409 euros and the 32-inch black screen costs 499 euros. An additional €20 must be paid for a white copy. These prices are for screen purchase only; There is no monitor base included. Including the foot corresponding to the 27-inch model, an additional 40 euros is added and for the 32-inch screen, an additional 50 euros is added. Interested parties can also purchase a single or dual monitor arm provided by NXZT. Screens are now available.
