On Monday, Russia expanded its sanctions list with 39 known Britons. Known names include former Prime Minister David Cameron and opposition leader Keir Starmer, but TV presenter Piers Morgan is no longer allowed into the country. He’s sarcastic as usual.
A total of 250 Britons have already been denied entry to Russia. This includes the resignation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, they contribute to “the enemy’s climate in London to demonize and isolate our country on the international stage.”
Piers Morgan is one of the new additions to the list. The TV presenter immediately announced on Twitter that he did not mind. “The country was not immediately included in my list of holiday destinations,” he wrote on Twitter.
