There were reports of a shooting at an airport in Dallas, Texas. This is what the Dallas Police Department said on Twitter. Meanwhile, the situation at the station is said to be “safe”. This will be followed by a press conference shortly.

The shots were allegedly fired at Dallas Love Field Airport. This airport is located approximately 10 kilometers from downtown Dallas. According to the FAA, all flights to Dallas Love are currently grounded at the point of departure. Flights that have just landed on the tarmac are kept and are not allowed to go to the gate.

The Dallas Fire Department confirmed to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth that someone was transported from the airport to the hospital, but it’s not clear what condition that person is.

Police closed two entrances to the building and passengers are being evacuated. The police chief of Rockwall, Texas, told NBC5 Dallas-Fort Worth that he and his family were there. Max Geron was just going through a security check when they heard gunshots coming from near the box office.

According to Jeron, TSA personnel were notified that “the shooter was disabled.”
