The British newspaper The Guardian reported that an old Dutch painting was recently found in a property in the Australian state of New South Wales.

The painting – titled “Still Life” – depicts a generously appointed table. The value of the painting is estimated at several million euros.
“It’s a fascinating story of discovery that sent us on a journey that lasted several years, to validate the work with expert advice and technology,” said Rebecca Benchin, group manager on the property where the painting was placed during restoration work.
The painting will be shown at an Australian heritage festival in Woodford Village in May.
