This time the daredevil walked on a tightrope of at least 2,200 meters, which ran between a crane and a monastery on the island of Normandy at Mont Saint-Michel.

Pauline, 28, started his bus in the late afternoon, walking barefoot for two hours on a tightrope no more than two centimeters wide, at an altitude of about 100 metres. Thus, the acrobat broke a new world record, according to his entourage. “Now I’m really cheerful. It was a very intense experience, within two hours I had a lot of emotions and I can still feel them,” Pauline told AFP when he arrived at the bell room of the monastery around 7:30 p.m.

The daredevil had to lower himself a few meters before the end for “safety reasons”, but continued his tightrope walk afterward. “He reached the finish line and the distance record was thus broken,” his spokeswoman Laura Zhang confirmed.
