Top of the cricket world on August 4th and 5th in Wurburg

WURBURG – Imagine Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi coming to play at the Wilhelms. Or in baseball terms Mike Trout and Mookie bets on the catch. Or Stephen Curry and Paolo Panchero in basketball terms.

New Zealand international cricketers Martin Guptill, Mitchell Santner and Jimmy Neesham will also visit Voorburg on August 4 and 5 at 5pm.

The Dutch men’s team will compete against the world’s best players from New Zealand in two short matches. Let Voorburg Cricket Club know it will be a spectacle.
Tickets are available at the entrance of Voorburg CC at Groene Zoom 20 in The Hague (behind Uerta and next to Wilhelmus). Tickets cost €20 for adults. Children under 12 pay only €10.

Twenty20 cricket is where both teams are given 120 balls to score as many points (runs) as possible. Suppose team A scores 160 runs. Team B needs to score 161 runs to win.

A unique opportunity for all to see what top level cricket is all about. Thursday 4th August and Friday 5th August 17:00 start of matches.
