Historic Lyceum still a place of learning

The Cheraw Lyceum. Where is it? What’s in there? And what is a lyceum anyway?The Cheraw Lyceum is the only brick structure of the four buildings on the Town Green, each of which has been recently restored and painted. It was built in 1820, the same year the town of Cheraw was incorporated. It hasn’t always been a museum, but it was built where it stands.The lyceum originally served as a chancery court for the Old Cheraw Judicial District.
