Robert “Bob” Lockey, 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at First United Methodist Church, Cheraw. The family will receive friends at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the Memorial Service.

Born in McColl, he was the son of Rosa Lee Martin Lockey and the late Robert L. Lockey. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Cheraw. He served with The Sandhills Emmaus Community, also with the Teen Aged Prison Ministry and Relay for Life. He loved Tar Heel sports, golf, beach music and Shag dancing.

He is preceded in death by his father listed above.

Surviving are his wife, Micki Poole Lockey of the home, daughters, Lee Anne (Jason) Godfrey of Florence, and Kathryn Paige Lockey of the home, his mother listed above, grandchildren.
