Sven Combs was under contract with KAA Gent until June 2024. Owner Sam Barrow recently indicated his desire to continue with the midfielder, but now the club can confirm the news themselves with a nice video.
The midfielder will remain with the Buffaloes for another year. Sign another year. It's a contract extension that fans will no doubt be very happy about.
The Ghent captain has already responded briefly on the club's website. He was clearly excited. “When I told my children that I would stay in Ghent for another year, they were very happy. Just like me, they feel at home at KAA Gent.”
