Dutch Royals Share a Glamorous Christmas Card (Alexia Wears Our Eléonore Dress) | Property

The Dutch royals wish everyone a “Merry Christmas, a healthy and prosperous holiday in 2022,” as can be read on the card. Desire can be read in English, Spanish, and Frisian as well as Papiamento, a language spoken on the islands. Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire, which belongs to the Netherlands, the photo was taken at the Huis ten Bosch palace in The Hague, where the royal family of the Netherlands lives.

The family is festively dressed: Willem Alexander in a tuxedo, mother and daughters in elegant dresses. However, Princess Alexia’s dress is particularly striking: it comes from the Parisian brand Maje and Princess Eleanor also wore it a few days ago during the annual Christmas party in the throne room of the Royal Palace in Brussels, albeit in blue. According to fashion magazine Elle, Maje’s dress is now selling like hot cakes in the European royal family.

Maxima also holds her new dog Mambo in the picture, and two black Labradors are sitting on the floor in front of the family. Above the royal members is a Studio Drift chandelier, made of dandelions stuck to the lights. Maxima chose the lamp herself and it is one of her favorite pieces, she said during her interview earlier this year.
