Brugge can count on de Kitleury once again in the cup clash against AA Gent | Croque Cup 2021/2022

Club Brugge can once again count on Charles de Kettleri for the second leg against AA Gent. The striker was not present last weekend against Antwerp with a shoulder injury and also tested slightly for coronavirus, but the subsequent quarantine has now been completed.

De Ketelaere was the only goal scorer at the Ghelamco Arena in the first leg. Defender Jack Hendry then received a red card and was suspended for a comeback.

Last weekend, Ghent won a visit to the Standard. There were no fans at Sclessin, tomorrow it will be a little different at Jan Breydel’s winding field.

“We think we can still get to the final,” coach Hein Vanheisbrück said. “We should have been in a better starting position, but now we are moving with the smallest deficit to Brugge. It will not be easy there. The fans will be behind that and we have to score two goals without conceding a goal to ensure we get the qualification.”

‘Or we may go ‘all the way’ and the dispute will be settled after the sanctions. We will start without fear in Jan Briddle’s court and assume our own abilities.

AA Gent faces a difficult task in the second leg of the Croky Cup semi-finals. He must compensate for the 0-1 loss from the first leg at the National Champions Club Brugge.
