FamousKim Kardashian, 41, did not speak to him for eight months after her divorce from ex-husband Kanye West (44). The reality star said she needed a “minute” after filing for divorce from the rapper in January last year: “He was still seeing the kids, but I didn’t feel the need to talk to him.”
“We didn’t talk to each other for eight months at the start of our divorce. He kept in touch with the kids, but we didn’t have time to talk to each other,” Kim said.
Kim is now especially hoping that she and her ex-husband can do well with co-parenting: “My dad and mom had a hard time and it took a while to adjust. I’ve seen it all myself before.”
Kim came to support her ex-husband in August 2021 at his “Donda” album launch party. But soon after, their relationship began to deteriorate as Kanye publicly spat about Kim and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
In an interview with the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Kim shared her thoughts: “Just because he’s made certain statements doesn’t mean he’s not a good person anymore,” she said. “But it was stressful for me and my kids. I want to deal with things in private. Now it’s better, that’s fine, but it’s not about too much contact now.”
