IJmuiden – When Dianne Weber – Varkevisser opened Grand Café Staal four years ago, she immediately knew that 'her' Misty Cove wine drinks would be on the menu. And that happened!
Of course, this statement by Dianne was not confined within the walls of the Stal and the regular wine supplier of the Grand Café Staal, Zwagers Wijnimport/Huis ter Bilt from Santpoort, heard it. The winemaker arrives in the Netherlands and it's due for a delicious winemaker's dinner. On March 19, 2024, guests of Grand Café Staal can enjoy a four-course dinner including matching Misty Cove wines for 75 euros per person.
The evening is hosted by Grand Café Stall, with Jarrod Englefield, co-owner of Misty Cove personally explaining the wines, and partially presented by Swagger's Wine Imports. A wonderful collaboration dominated by wine and food!
Misty Cove wines hail from New Zealand. The winery is owned by Andrew Bailey and his Dutch wife Marieke. Misty Cove wines are characteristic, have won many competitions and have a great relationship with sustainability.
Reservations can be made through the Grand Cafe stall. [email protected] or 0255 – 501525
