'New Zealanders are the most hospitable people I have ever met. I have already received a lot of love in the form of lifts, food, places to sleep and charity. They love to share their stories about the country's history and landscape. The terrain varies greatly!' She now crossed rivers and saw mountains with volcanoes and emerald green lakes. 'I also saw hundreds of huts along the way.' His route mainly runs through the middle of New Zealand, making the South Island particularly challenging.

She will return home in early May. 'I'm going to live in a van so I can save money again. In the meantime, if necessary, I will resume teaching throughout the country.'
