iOS 15.1 has just been released, but Apple doesn’t stand still: the beta version of iOS 15.2 is now available, and this has been added.

late post

As with iOS 15.1, brings a new update late jobs Apple announced at WWDC. Since 15.1 we can finally start with SharePlay, where you can share videos, music and more on FaceTime with your chat partner. With version 15.2, Privacy Report is available for iPhone and iPad.

Be the first to get the new iPhone 13!

With the Privacy Report, you can see in an overview exactly what data your apps have requested in the past seven days. This way you can see at a glance if the app is too liberal with certain permissions, for example using microphone, camera or location data. You can also see what locations and servers the apps are connected to, so you know exactly what the app is doing in the background.

You can find the feature in iOS 15.2 beta under “Settings > Privacy > Privacy Report”. The feature must be manually enabled before the report can be generated.

Notification overview and more

In iOS 15.2, the notification overview is fixed. This will show you a summary of your non-urgent notifications so they don’t bother you during the day. In version 15.2, this overview has become larger, and it has been given a more playful and straightforward look.

Moreover SOS- Nodmilding It has been improved. Previously, you had to press and hold the side button and the volume button for three seconds to automatically call 911. However, it may happen that you accidentally call the emergency number. This has now been extended to eight seconds, making the chance of that much lower.

Install iOS 15.2 Beta

iOS 15.2 beta is the so-called “public beta”, so anyone can participate. However, we do not recommend installing the trial version on a device that you use on a daily basis, due to the many bugs and errors that can be present in it. Do you want to try it anyway? Then read in Our public test article how to do that.
