After the rainy game last Saturday, 35 minutes still had to be played at Kiel Stadium. Circle took a 0-1 lead and could easily keep up, even though Beerchot was the better team.
The first part of the match ended 0-1 in favor of Cercle Brugge after Olivier Deman’s goal. So Berchot had 35 minutes to put things right.

Berchut’s best chances were in these 35 minutes, but they could no longer score. For example, Cercle won the season opener for the first time since 2011.
