what are you going to do?
As an advisor to the Spatial Planning and Economics Board, you advise and support the Municipal Council, the Spatial and Economic Planning Board Committee, as well as individual council members (the Committee) in the performance of their tasks. It proactively advises them on topics on the Council’s agenda, motions, amendments and proposals for initiatives in the spatial and economic field. You prepare committee meetings and provide advice and support to the Council Committee Chair. You are also the Secretary of the Environmental Law Council Voting Group and any other working groups. Organizes and supports working visits and other council meetings such as hearings and evenings.

As a Board Advisor, you are a sparring partner for the Board members, the Board Clerk, and your fellow Board Advisors. You proactively advise them on agenda topics and files. You can also inform residents of the procedures and contact the council. Where necessary, you provide requested and unsolicited advice to members of the Council and the official institution of the Council (Committee) on topics and files on the Council’s agenda.

You can also provide advice on how the Council can position itself more strongly in the region and in relation to joint arrangements. We are looking for a Council Consultant with experience in space and economics.

The municipal council of Alphen aan den Rijn has its own official support: the office of the council clerk.
