Ebema, Zutendaal’s producer of concrete products, will change its management as of January. Patrick Pennens, who served as CEO for 1.5 years, has decided to step down due to health reasons. Ebema will therefore be looking for a new CEO to lead the family business through its next growth phase.
Patrick Pennens will remain active as CEO until the end of December. In the meantime, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mimi Lamotte, will work with the Panis family and management to find the right CEO to further grow Ebema.
Thanks to his valuable knowledge and experience, Patrick Pennens will continue to play a role within the Limburg family company after December, including his membership on the Board of Directors. “I am proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to continuing to support Ebema in this new role,” says Patrick Pennens.
Mimi Lamotte said: “Under Patrick’s leadership, Ebema has taken important steps in the areas of product quality, operations and sustainability. Together with the Ebema team, he has put the Ebema Group back on the right track, both in terms of sales volumes and results. We “will continue resolutely on this path.” “So nothing will change for our customers and our employees,” he says, sounding reassuring. Ideally, the new CEO will take office at the turn of the year.
