Host Tucker Carlson, who was fired from Fox News earlier this year, has started his own paid streaming service, called the Tucker Carlson Network. The presenter mainly hired people who used to work with him at ‘Fox’.
For $72 a year, Carlson promises to deliver the “unadorned truth” through commentary, interviews, news reports and documentaries. “I will not stop telling the truth until the day I die.”
The new project comes more than seven months after Carlson, the most popular host on Fox with 3.5 million daily viewers, was unexpectedly fired. Fox’s ratings dropped immediately after his departure. Fox has never publicly explained the shooting, and Carlson said Monday: “It’s really one of those mysteries that I’ll probably never understand.”
Now Carlson is entering the world of subscription services with a variety of products such as “Meet Tucker Carlson,” “The Tucker Carlson Interview,” “After the Tucker Carlson Interview,” “Tucker Carlson Uncensored,” and “Tucker Carlson Movies.” . On “Ask Tucker Carlson,” the host will answer participants’ questions and offer advice.
“I feel happy,” Carlson, a guest on The Megyn Kelly Show, told another former Fox host. “I feel liberated.”
