Galaxy Tab S7 July 2022 update
The Samsung tablet that the South Koreans might have kept best – in terms of updates – is the Galaxy Tab S7. A few days ago, an update for the firmware version SM-T870XXU2CVG7 (Tab S7) or SM-T97 * XXU2CVG7 (Tab S7 +) was available.
A download over 335MB is not limited to installing a file July patch. Samsung is also working on GPS reliability. Moreover, it becomesdevice behavior‘to improve.

Galaxy Tab S8 update: again the May patch
Another tablet from the South Korean stable that regularly receives updates is the Galaxy Tab S8 (Ultra). However, there is something strange about this. The Tab S8 series has been suspended with the May security patch since the end of April.
The new update with firmware version SM-X * 0 * XXU2AVG9 does not change that. Again, after installation, we find the May patch. If you have a Wi-Fi model, this is already the fifth update in a row based on this patch. For models with 5G technology, it is the third.
Furthermore, the change list only states that “general stabilityImproved.” This point has also been the only improvement on the list since the end of April. That doesn’t make us any wiser, but we can only assume that all these updates (similar on paper) are helpful nonetheless.
The update is now available immediately, OTA on all Tab S8 models sold in the Netherlands and Belgium, including the Ultra.
