It’s still somewhat unclear how Wute Van Aert will perform after a well-deserved break. Last year, Boom’s cross was Van Aert’s third cross, and now he’s only diving into the field for the first time. The Belgian champion is certainly a favorite on the podium, but last year he also had to warm up three crosses before he could win. So his focus is on the end of the year period.
