GOES – Leendert van de Velde (30) has been appointed a member of the ZLTO Council Zeeland with effect from 21 February 2022. He took over after retiring director Rinco de Koizer.
ZLTO Council President Zeeland Joris Baecke is pleased with the arrival of Leendert van de Velde: “Leendert is a motivated young entrepreneur who already has the necessary experience in advocacy. He is a young driver with a new vision in business. From his role as director at ZAJK, he knows the Zeeland files and can translate them for the benefit of a better future perspective.

Leandert comes from a farm in Treshore that runs with his brothers and parents. The main branch of the company is Seed Potato, which specializes in its training through various companies. When asked about his pioneers within the ZLTO Council Zeeland, the brand new ZLTO Director responds: “Agriculture is a very important sector that can provide healthy food to most of the world. And grow positively.I also want ZLTO Council, along with other members of Zeeland to gain knowledge, translate this into practice in our members’ yard, and be the future resource for companies.I in my role as Director from ZAJK, I want to promote the interests of young farmers across the province. Young people are the future! “
