Last Sunday, the crew of the cruise ship “Icon of the Seas” rescued fourteen people who had been stranded on a small boat at sea for eight days. This can be seen in the photos taken by passengers on the cruise ship. The ship was on an eight-day voyage from Miami to Honduras when the rescue operation took place. Nothing is known yet about the identities of the victims. “Icon of the Seas” is the largest cruise ship in the world at 365 meters long. It can accommodate 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew members.
