Toto Wolff sent Max Verstappen a letter congratulating him on the world title. Max Verstappen overtook Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton on the last lap, winning the world title.
Mercedes appealed, but these appeals were rejected by the hosts. Everything is complete, Max Verstappen said, and he received a message from Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. According to Verstappen, that letter stated that he is proud of a Dutchman.

Wolff was not happy with the decision to take another lap at the Abu Dhabi circuit, where Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton lost the drivers’ world title. Hamilton was not happy with the result, was not present at the press moments and left the track immediately.
