For the 2nd time this season, Nele Gilis has won a World Tour event and for the 2nd time after meeting sister Tinne. Nelle won 3-0 in New Zealand.
It will be the second time in less than a month that the Gilis sisters will face each other in the PSA World Tour finals.
At the Singapore Open, Nele Gillis came out on top (3-2) after a thriller in mid-November.
The last round of the World Tour before the season finale (Masters Squash), Sister Dinne had the perfect chance to get revenge in New Zealand today.
But Nele was ruthless again and brought her sister to her knees with a 3-0 (11-8, 11-3, 11-8) score after 51 minutes. If that wasn’t enough, Nels’ fiancΓ© Paul Cole won the men’s final.
