De Conde won: RC Genk has attracted a midfielder with the profile the team still needs. Aziz Ouattara must now provide the physical presence for defence. With the 21-year-old Ivorian in the ranks, Genk is still trying to make it to the playoff 1.
“KRC Genk has attracted Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Aziz Ouattara. He is from Sweden’s Hammarby and has signed a contract for four and a half seasons until the summer of 2026,” Genk said in an official statement.

Immediately a long-term agreement between Genk Ouattara, who has been active in the Swedish League for the past two years. Hammarby first loaned it to Fry Tape. The following season, Ouattara finally broke through at Hammarby.
According to Genk, there was interest in this promising talent from France, Italy, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. However, he chose young midfielder Genk.
