You can safely call it a contested divorce. Kylian Mbappé’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain has sparked a lot of underlying frustrations. Not only with the player, but also with the club.
It must have been fun in Paris last year. Mbappe indicated yesterday that the club no longer actually wants to sign him after he refused to extend his contract. It is clear that they at Paris Saint-Germain were not happy with these statements and the club’s response to the Agence France-Presse. “Mbappé has no level at all. The president has never imposed a decision on the lineup.”
