The Renault Symbioz blends genres

In terms of technology, the Renault Symbioz features a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.4-inch vertical central touchscreen on every trim level. It takes advantage of Renault’s latest generation OpenR Link, based on Android Automotive 12. So you get Google built-in, which can come in handy! But if you prefer to connect your phone to the system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wireless) are also available.

Renault describes the new Symbioz as an “all-rounder”, a “Swiss Army knife” or a “life companion for the whole family”. Although this may seem somewhat exaggerated, we have to admit that the French brand has placed great emphasis on interior space and style. The Symbioz, for example, benefits from a rear seat that can be slid by 16 cm. This increases the boot volume from 429 to 624 litres, or up to 1,582 liters if you fold the rear seats. Not bad for an SUV with a wheelbase of 2638m and an overall length of 4413m.

Just like the E-Tech Full Hybrid
In addition to its appearance and interior, the Captur family line can also be seen under the skin. Symbioz is based on an extended version of the CMF-B platform used from Clio to Arkana. But unlike those models, the Symbioz is only available with the 145-hp E-Tech Full Hybrid engine.
Renault has not yet announced the official weight, but says it should weigh less than 1.5 tons. This brings WLTP consumption to just 4.6 l/100 km. Therefore, your Renault Symbioz should also have a long driving range with a full tank of fuel. Although there is only one engine to choose from, there are four equipment levels: Evolution, Techno, Iconic and Esprit Alpine.
