CyclingHe will leave Soudal after next season as co-sponsor of the Lotto Soudal cycling team. The team announced this in a press release. The National Lottery will remain on board for years to come.
Soudal, an international player and expert in the disciplines of chemical construction, has been active since 2015 as a co-sponsor with the team of Philip Gilbert and Thomas de Gendt, among others. Since the beginning of the cooperation, the team has recorded at least 157 victories. However, the Belgian family business decided to stop sponsoring after 2022.
“Together we have developed a clear vision in which we have given young talent every opportunity to grow to the highest level and we have never given up on that in the past seven years,” says Soudal. “The project has helped us build brand awareness both nationally and internationally. We hope that the collaboration will lead to good results until the end of 2022.”
Main sponsor Lotto has confirmed that he will continue to invest in the team after 2022.
