For years, her parents confined Jordan Turpin, 21, with her 12 siblings in their home. They were all beaten and starved. But now, four years later, the girl is cheerful. She showed it to the world on her TikTok account.

Four years ago, twelve siblings were found chained, thirsty and neglected in a small town in the US state of California. The twelve were found by the police after the thirteenth victim, a 17-year-old girl, managed to escape and contact the police. It eventually turns out that the children’s parents, David and Louise Turpin, have been holding their children for years. Children were starved and systematically beaten. Some were also chained to their beds. Sometimes for weeks.

David and Louise were charged with a full range of charges, but initially pleaded not guilty. They later pleaded guilty. Both were sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

The thirteen children only spoke publicly about what they had experienced once since the trial. Jennifer Turpin and her sister Jordan gave their first interview in November 2021. It was Jordan who eventually escaped and was able to call the police. I also talked about this in the interview.

But Jorden also turned out to be a huge hit on TikTok. The 21-year-old now has over 475,000 followers on the platform. She mainly uses her account to show dances, but she also thanks her followers for all the support she has received. Last month, I also thanked everyone who contributed to the JAYC Foundation, an organization founded by Jaycee Dugard who was kidnapped at a young age. Through this fund, she is trying to help families who have also had to endure such crises.

“People have asked me if I see my brothers often and how my brothers are doing. I want to tell you that I see my brothers and sisters a lot and that I love them very much. We don’t have the best living situation at the moment, but we have a roof over our heads and we have a way to get food and we are all very grateful for that Jordan also thanked everyone who sent her money directly. She said, “Now I can give my brothers really fun and good gifts this year and I am so happy and grateful to be able to do so.” “I hope one day I can help you and others, just as you helped me.” It means a lot to me.”
