Tuesday 28 November: The council decides on public spaces, living in Woodstone and in the Rembrandt Erve

On Tuesday 28 November, there will be a council meeting in the council chamber of Herrhogovard Town Hall. During this evening the Council takes its decisions. Welcome to the Council Chamber. Or watch the live stream from 8 p.m. Find the agenda and live stream bestuur.dijkenwaard.nl

This time the Council decides the following:

An integrated plan for public space policy

Cemetery bases, play facilities, roads, green spaces, artwork, etc. are included in this plan. To come up with this plan, a questionnaire was sent to residents. The proposals were announced during a political evening on 23 November. These relate to the level of maintenance of cemeteries and shopping areas within residential areas, the announcement of roundabouts and the prioritization of actions resulting from the plan. Does the faction make a proposal? It will then be approved if a majority of Council members agree. The Council must then implement this.

For example, Lokaal Dijk en Waard is considering submitting a proposal asking the council to find out how much it would cost to upgrade to maintenance level A for cemeteries and shopping areas. Other factions are concerned about these costs and believe that Maintenance Level B also provides good results. GroenLinks is concerned about prioritizing actions in the plan for the next ten years. An application is being considered for this purpose. After a letter from entrepreneurs about advertising on roundabouts, 50PLUS announces a proposal to place this ad on roundabouts again.

The following hammer items are also on the agenda:

  • Presentation on the consequences of the collective labor agreement GGD Hollands Noorden
  • The draft resolution is available in Waard Sport bv
  • The rules provide municipal guarantees and loans
  • Slot machine rules
  • Zoning plan Rembrandt Erf
  • Port regulations
  • Declaration of no objection to the Woodstone housing project.
