Van Olst leads Rapid Circle NL and relieves CEO Punter

Van Olst comes from another Microsoft partner, Avanade, where he worked for more than ten years. There he was involved in the global training program and led operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. According to Rapid Circle, van Olst has a large international network and a lot of experience in leadership and projects.

In his new role, Van Olst will be tasked with ensuring growth and stability. He says he has clear ideas about this: ‘We’re doing increasingly big projects and we need to think about how we deliver them in a way that works for everyone.’

Since his appointment in 2008, CEO Harold Bunter has led Rapid Circle’s Dutch and international operations. With Van Olst’s arrival, Punter can focus on international developments. ‘We’re becoming a really big organization now, and as the scale increases, the international organization becomes more important.’

Spread across the Netherlands, Australia and India, Rapid Circle employs around 440 people. Clients include Amsterdam UMC, Heineken and Gelre Hospitals. Last month, the Amsterdam cloud services provider appointed Marit van Dijk to lead Rapid Circle Advisory. This business unit arises from the acquisition of Weolcan in early 2022.
