Shakira spoke about the private meeting on Instagram Stories. She told her 70 million followers that she went out with her eight-year-old son Milan when she encountered wild boars. As evidence, she showed her smashed handbag. “Look how these two wild boars that attacked me in the garden left my bag. They took my bag into the woods with my cell phone in it. They destroyed everything.”
A special story, but not uncommon for Barcelona residents. Collserola, a nature reserve in Barcelona, has been plagued by wild boars for a few years now. In 2016, Spanish police received 1,187 phone calls about wild boars attacking dogs, looting cat food bowls and hitting cars in the city.
Shakira lives in elegant Pedralbes, on the outskirts of Colcerola, with her footballer husband Gerard Pique, and their two children Milan (8 years old) and Sasha (6 years old).
