PropertyKate Middleton, wife of Prince William, turns 40 today. In honor of her birthday, the Duchess of Cambridge has shared three new photos of her. The pictures were taken by the famous photographer Paolo Roversi. While a new front door is usually a milestone, it looks like Kate will be celebrating in a small circle due to the coronavirus.
The Duchess is not expected to throw a big party, but rather a small gathering with some friends and family. A source told the Daily Mail: “She didn’t want anything big anyway, that’s not exactly something she wanted, but especially given the current climate, it’s likely that everything will be scaled back.”
However, the Duchess is likely to receive packages. Prince William, who has been with Catherine for over a decade, previously admitted on the Peter Crouch podcast that he didn’t always give her the best Christmas gifts. “I once gave my wife a speculum, she never let me forget,” he said on his podcast in 2020. That was the beginning of their relationship. “Honestly, I have no idea why I was given the speculum, which seemed like a good idea at the time.”

Therefore, there is no big party in it, but to celebrate this important event in her life, Kate shared three unique photos. In one photo, Prince William’s wife wears a gorgeous red asymmetrical dress and earrings are welcome! From Queen Elizabeth. The other two, in black and white, were taken in November at the Royal Botanic Gardens on Kew. Catherine wears a white dress with earrings from her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
All three dresses are from British fashion label Alexander McQueen, who also designed her wedding dress. They all end up in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London, of which she is a patron.
