The story of “Augure” revolves around the main character, Kofi, who was rejected by his mother in the Congo years ago because of his alleged “zabulo” signs. In Swahili, the word “zabulo” means something similar to a sorcerer or sorcerer, but with a negative connotation indicating a demon or devil. Despite his better judgement, Kofi decides to return to the Congolese city of Lubumbashi with his pregnant girlfriend Alice to introduce her to his family. The 96th edition of the Academy Awards is scheduled to be held on March 10 next year in Los Angeles. Nominations for the film awards will be announced on January 23, 2024.
