Who's watching the current season ofFarmer looking for a woman'It seems, no doubt you have noticed. While singles used to line up in large numbers, the turnout of farmers is now small.
There were only ten candidates for Rancher Nils, and nine for Farmer Sunny. The filmmakers have to admit that this isn't exactly a success.
“I estimate that only a third of the registered girls came to Niels,” producer Anya Buittaert tells Het Laatste Nieuws. According to her, this is mainly for practical reasons.
This was the first time that candidates had to take an entire week off immediately, as Farm Week started immediately after the speed dates. “This did not work for many on the agenda.”
“Nels also noticed that many of the girls had now found a lover. The period between the call in June and the registrations in September was also very long.”
The big question is whether there are still enough bachelors interested in future seasons. On the other hand, there is no shortage of farmers. “We also have to disappoint many, as we strive to balance diverse profiles every season.”
