American actor Bob Odenkirk, 58, who was taken to hospital on Tuesday, announced on Twitter that he had had a “minor heart attack”. The actor says he did not have surgery, but he has to rest now.
Odenkirk suddenly collapsed on Tuesday while recording The best of Saul on demand, cross-section of Too bad. His colleagues would immediately run up to him and call an ambulance. Although there are some reports about the actor’s condition, he himself has not yet responded. He does so now via Twitter.
He writes, “I just had a slight heart attack.” “But it will be fine thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who were able to fix it without surgery… I will take some time to recover but I will be back soon.” He also thanked his fans, friends and family for the support. “It is overwhelming. I feel loved and it means a lot to me.”
