Pictures of a prototype powered by Apple AirPower technology have emerged. According to The Verge, a 28-year-old Italian bought the device in China and worked on it by pairing it with compatible iPhone models.
The Airpower prototype does not have a case so the chassis and some internal parts can be clearly seen. However, the device is working according to owner Giulio Zumpetti, who also posted a video on Twitter of business model Involved. According to him, it can only be used with an iPhone prototype that recognizes the AirPower device. It appears that it “does not work with a normal device” opposite the edge.
Apple announced the AirPower Charging Dock in 2017. The device was intended to wirelessly charge multiple devices at the same time. However, the official presentation was postponed.
