Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 10, 2024

Cupertino, California – March 26, 2024 Apple today announced that this year's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held online from June 10-14. In addition, developers and students will have the opportunity to attend a special event at Apple Park on the first day.

All developers have free access to WWDC24, where the latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS features are presented. As part of Apple's efforts to provide developers with the best possible support in creating innovative apps and games, this event gives them a unique opportunity to exchange ideas directly with Apple experts. They also get insight into the latest tools, frameworks, and features.

“We're excited to meet developers around the world during this busy week in technology,” said Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “During WWDC, there is a buzz of new ideas and developers are told about new tools and resources available to make more beautiful things.”

Through the keynote, developers and students will learn all about Apple's latest software and technology. They can also follow WWDC24 throughout the week via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube. There are plenty of video sessions planned and plenty of networking opportunities: participants can talk not only with Apple designers and engineers, but also with fellow developers from around the world.

There will be a special event at Apple Park on June 10. Developers can then attend the keynote, meet Apple employees, and participate in a variety of special activities. The number of places is limited. Learn how to register on the Apple Developer site or app.

Apple supports the next generation of developers through the Swift Student Challenge, one of several Apple programs aimed at empowering the next generation of developers, makers, and entrepreneurs. This year's candidates will receive the results on March 28. Winners may request to attend the private event at Apple Park. The so-called “50 Outstanding Winners” are invited to a special three-day program in Cupertino due to the quality of their participation.

In the lead-up to WWDC24, Apple will announce new information about WWDC24 in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website.
